BASSINGBOURN played hosts to unbeaten FC Comets and were soon 1-0 down.
Some fine saves by goalkeeper Dylan Lloyd supported by the determined tackling of Tom Harrington prevented any further first half goals by FC Comets.
At other end a fine break by Jack Brough almost brought the equaliser for Bassingbourn.
For the second week in a row Bassingbourn started the second half badly and were soon 3-0 down.

Determined play from James Sharp and James Ashton checked FC Comets and a goal line clearance by Simon Fell kept Bassingbourn in the game, however as they tired Bassingbourn conceded a further three goals and succumbed to a 6-0 defeat.
