Steeple Morden (135-5) beat Mill Green (134) by five wickets.

STEEPLE Morden made it five wins on the trot with a victory over Mill Green.

Captain Duncan Warner put Green into bat and they were soon in trouble against Richard King and Jack Tidey (3-38).

Opener Williams (61) rode his luck before Graham Jarman (5-30) took the first of his five wickets, and Tidey also contributed as the visitors were dismissed for 134.

Morden made the worst possible start losing King early on, but fellow opener Paul Jarman (41), Sean Williams (7) and Mark Newland (11) kept the scoreboard ticking over before Roger Huffer (13no) and Warner (12no) secured the win.
