ROYSTON bounced back from last week's disappointing cup results with a number of impressive performances.

In the Premier Division, Dave Bridges' first maximum provided the basis for the A team's first victory of the season with a 7-3 win at Settlement Skylarks.

Bridges won all his singles and alongside John Manley, who won his two singles, claimed the doubles win. Mike Malone completed the rout with his singles win.

The B team gained their first win of their Division One campaign with a 6-4 victory over Bedwell D.

Two singles each from Yuci Gou and Martyn Symonds, and one from Alf Mills and a Mills and Symonds partnership was enough to seal the win.

In Division Two, the unbeaten C team extended their lead at the top with a thumping 9-1 victory at LABB A. Gordon Barnes and Abigail Moore once again won all their singles, with Haydn Gowan adding two more, and the doubles with Moore.

And not to be outdone, the D team also maintained their good start to the season with a comfortable 7-3 win against Bedwell F.

Andy Teemal led the way with another treble, and Derek Clark made his first game of the year count with his two wins, while Julian Lugg added another before winning the doubles with Teemal.

The opportunity for a full house was blown however, with the E team's dismal performance against Christchurch, losing 10-0.
