Royston Runners continued their impressive form on Saturday with three of their men's senior squad taking part in the South England Cross Country Championships.

The event was held at Parliament Hill Fields on Hampstead Heath, and the Royston trio lined up for the last race of the day, the 1,500 metre challenge, on a course with ankle-deep mud.

Toby Staines was first home for Royston in 63 minutes, with Paul Martin recording 65 minutes, and Sean Allen 73 minutes.
