THE Cambs Tucker Gardner Division 2's two form clubs meet on Saturday when league leaders Foxton entertain Waresley.

Unbeaten Foxton opened up a 52-point lead after they saw off second placed Cambridge NCI by six wickets.

Foxton coach Matt Gray said: "It will be a tough game, and we are well aware that they are a more than capable side."

While Waresley were busy seeing off Hexton by 82 runs, their fifth win in six games, Foxton put NCI to the sword with another display of controlled cricket.

Andrew Gray took four wickets, with Antonnel Atwell adding another three as NCI totalled 180 for 9. In reply, Patrick Joseph was uncharacteristically dismissed for 15, before Max Bowen (21), Lawrence Farnum (37) and Atwell (11) built a steady foundation for Ian Cambridge and Paul Dean to take Foxton forward.

And they duly replied with Cambridge blasting a well-worked 46, including eight fours, and Dean hitting a cool 35 as the hosts reached 183 for 4 from 42.5 overs.
