A Royston Runner has smashed her personal best time for a half -marathon.
Felicity Shaw tackled the arduous Watford half-marathon last Sunday, completing the course in 1 hour 43 minutes, 54 seconds to take over five minutes off her personal best.
Shaw was one of a nine-strong local contingent, alongside 2000 other competitors, to tackle the challenging race.
David Marriage, on his comeback run recorded 1:44, which stands him in good stead for the Edinburgh marathon at the end of May.
The other seven runners all posted good times, Toby Staines the quickest at 1:26, followed by Michelle Maxwell, 1:30.
Debbie Watson and Paul Haynes both completed the course in 1:45, with Karl Howard on 1:48.

Simon Oughton ran 1:55, while Philip Doyle missed breaking two hours by just 28 seconds.
