The highly-acclaimed Royston Town Youth FC is hosting its annual Managers versus Managers match.
A spokesman told Crow Sport: “This event is special to us as we have a fantastic team of fundraisers who organise everything including the tournament.
“But this event is where our managers who are all unpaid volunteers, put themselves on the pitch playing the game that is special to our club for the children of our club.
“We want to show how much they mean to us by getting as many supporters as possible to say thank you for all they do for us – such as pitch marking, taking training and matches – in sometimes awful conditions – not to mention early morning pitch inspections and a host of other things.”
The popular event will be at Royston Town, Garden Walk from 2pm on May 19. Entry £2/£1 and will feature a barbecue, bar and more.
