ROYSTON played host to the Cross Country League on Sunday as the Royston Runners looked to do well on home soil.
The Heath's course is also a particular favourite with all the runners as it challenges them with its hills and mounds.
More than 200 athletes took part, including competitors from Watford, Edmonton, and St Albans.
And Royston carried on their already impressive season, with 17 of their male runners and 21 of their females taking part.
In the men's event, Richard Lowden was the first home for Royston, with Godfrey Tofts and Toby Staines close behind.
Steve Lyons and Dave Evans also came home with good times, with the men's team now well placed in the league in fourth position with one race to go.

Michelle Maxwell was first home for the ladies, ahead of Kathryn Probert and Sian Webster, who finished second and third respectively.
The ladies' team featured cross country debutantes Felicity Shaw, Catherine Brown, and Chrissie Segger, who all ran strong races. As a result of their placings the ladies now stand in eighth place in the league.
