ROYSTON Under-11s continued their good form this season with two emphatic wins against Letchworth.

In the first game, Royston blitzed their opponents 53-0.

The back line took advantage with five tries being scored in the first half by Ashley Jones (two), Nathan King, and two for Edward Shannon.

In the second half, Royston continued their good form, with Ashley Jones grabbing his hat-trick, and Edward Shannon taking his total to four. Charlie Bartlett added a ninth. Four conversions were landed, three by man-of-the-match Nathan King, and one by Edward Shannon.

In the second game, Letchworth stunned Royston by taking the lead with a converted try but couldn't prevent Royston from running out 56-14 winners.

This seemed to motivate the Royston pack, and soon Royston were back on level terms through Shannon. Shannon then scored his second and Nathan King added another two tries before half time.

In the second half, the tries kept coming with some great individual tries by Zac Holson, James Sharpe (two) and Jones.

Letchworth finished the game with a well deserved consolation. Royston converted all their tries, Jamie Drage (five) and Lyle Clarke (three).
