Royston Town Youth Colts U11s recorded a thumping 11-3 victory away at Pin Green Juniors.
Despite a patchy start from the usually solid defence, Royston recorded their fifth straight league win to underline their strong start to the new season.
Michael Baulk led the way with six well-taken goals, ably supported by striker Bruce Barnes with two of his own.
Exciting wing play from Lewis Anderson and Jack Hallewell kept the Pin Green goal under constant pressure and a commanding midfield performance from Tom Fox drove the team throughout the match.
Other scorers were Tom Turner, Keiran Blois and full-back Bradley Whale who stepped up with a well-struck penalty.
