ROYSTON Town's FA Vase game against Tipton Town has been postponed.
Football League referee Keith Hill inspected the Garden Walk ground at 1pm this afternoon but concluded that the Fourth Round match should be called off because the pitch is unfit following the Big Freeze.
Speaking about the postponement, Royston Town president Alan Barlow said: "We had Keith down today and it's been decided to postpone the match.
"Potentially it's still dangerous and with the weather forecast for tomorrow predicting rain a decision has been made to call it off."
The match has been rearranged to take place next Saturday (January 23) at 3pm.
