Royston Town will begin the new Southern League Division One Central season at home to league new boys Kidlington.

The Crows, who missed out on promotion in the play-off semi-finals for the second successive year last campaign, take on last season’s Hellenic Premier League winners on Saturday, August 6.

Steve Castle’s men then travel to Bedford Town on Tuesday, August 9.

They complete the first month of the season with a trip to Egham Town (August 13), home clash with Potters Bar Town (August 16), Aylesbury United away (August 27) and Histon at Garden Walk (August 29).

The Christmas and New Year fixtures see Town travel to Histon on Boxing Day before hosting Arlesey Town on January 2.

They end the season at home to Hanwell Town on Saturday, April 22.
