CROWS boss Paul Attfield believes that, with a few new additions to the squad over the summer, promotion is a very realistic target next season.
Attfield set a target of finishing in the top six after winning promotion back to the Spartan South Midlands Premier last season and, with that box now already ticked, the manager believes his team can go all the way next time around.
"We're not far away from getting out of this league," he said.
"A few new players in certain areas will give us that bit extra, and with other players still due to come back from injury, we will be in good shape next year.
"I have identified the players I want to bring to the squad, and ideally we can get them in time for pre-season so we can start the campaign properly."
Attfield says he is impressed with the level of improvement shown by his players over the course of a season that has seen them play a ridiculous number of games in both league and cup competition.
"We've had to cope with a severe fixture schedule, especially since the turn of the year, but to be honest, the players have taken to the situation like a duck to water and winning 13 out of our last 16 games certainly proves that.
"Doing well in the FA Vase was an exciting experience for the lads and it bodes well for the future as they have all matured as a group.
"We had a two-year plan to get promoted out of this division, and we have young players that were not used to playing at this level.
"However, we've done really, really well, and I'm sure there will be a lot of excitement going into next season.
