The Royston Tennis Club men’s 3rds are celebrating being crowned Division Seven champions in the Cambridgeshire Summer League 2015.

They achieved an unbeatable seven wins out of seven, ending the season with an outstanding 8-0 win over the Histon 3rds. The Men’s 4th team in Division 8 and the 5ths in Division 11 are also contenders to win their respective divisions. The 4ths beat Cocks and Hens 3rds 8-0, and are only one point behind their rivals Phennards 2nds, with one match still to play. The Royston Men’s 5ths are at the top of the table, also with one match still to play.

Royston Tennis Club are holding a touch tennis tournament for all ages on Sunday, June 28 at 9.45am. It’s a fun, social event, and the nature of touch tennis means that all skill levels can compete and stand a chance of winning, so the Club are hoping for a good turn-out of members and non-members.
