LADIES from Royston Tennis Club had their first summer matches when the first team of Christine Knight, Sharon O'Looney, Kathryn Betts & Sue Addison beat Fulbourn first team 5-3 at home.
The Ladies second team of Karin Lambert, Emma Windred, Emma Daintrey and Ann Smith also did well with a resounding 8-0 win away to Newmarket fourth team.
Elsewhere, the men's second team of John Holmes, Mike Fellingham, David Addison and Roger Maybury held Cocks and Hens fourth team to a draw.
The under-14 boys' team of Nathan O'Looney, Toby Jackson, Alex Wilson and Leo Picket beat Hitchin away 10-2.
However, the under-12 boys' team could only field two players, Edward Sclare and George Pemberton before losing 12-0 away to Brookmans Park.
