Greneway School’s Year 7 football team continue to go from strength to strength this season as they advance to round three in the National Cup after beating Horringer Court Middle School 4-2.
The success was quickly followed up by a win in the third round of the county cup at home against Parmiters School of Watford. Despite going a goal down to an early penalty Greneway stayed calm stuck to their game plan and ended up comfortable 5-1 winners.
The Greneway Year 5/6 squad have also been maintaining momentum an 8-0 win in the Wix County Cup, one of the oldest football competitions in the country, with the side now awaiting their quarter-final opponents. The team also finished an impressive third place in the county seven-a-side finals.
