ATHLETICS: Royston Runners were out in force as their midweek league campaign started in fine style.

They visited Welwyn Garden City, with 48 runners turning out - 24 in the men's event and 24 in the women's.

Karl Cable was the first home for the men, while Nicky Tyrell was the first woman home for the ladies.

Overall Royston finished fourth.
