Royston 37 Bluebells 33

ROYSTON made it two wins from three matches on Monday night with a narrow 37-33 victory over Bluebells.

Royston started with a slightly different line-up with White in the circle defence and Hume in the centre position – however they started well and won the first quarter 11-6.

However, as the match progressed the opposition fought back strongly. The team continued to battle with Stimson and Davies supplying the ball to Claire Target who’s shooting was on good form. The third and fourth quarters came and everyone battled hard with Pinner, White and Durrant in particular holding a steady defence while Davies and Hume held the ball up brilliantly in the middle of the court to keep possession and the team held out for a good win.
