In the MDL away to Foxton, Royston Bowls Club gained two points, Roy Hancock, Hans Rijk and Skip Eileen Hyde producing an excellent win, 20-6 shots.
But away to Baldock in the NHI, Royston lost two rinks to one, that being Ken Frostick, Derek Smith, Hans Rijk and Peter Fisk winning 23-18.
The NHWBA away to Three Horseshoes had mixed results, Maureen Gisby, Gillian Fisk and Eileen Hyde losing on the last end 15-13 but Jill Goode, Shirley Pawson and Yvonne Whitehouse winning 26-8.
The Veterans games, firstly at home ICI Life Members resulted in a loss for Royston by 17 shots and away against Havers Park, a loss by 12 shots, however at home to North Herts. the Vets won by a massive 79 shots.
The friendly game at home against Hitchin saw Ron Colton, Don Ward, Rodney Dean and skip Eileen Hyde have a highest winning score of 26-9, Royston winning overall 73 shots to 48. Hyde continued as skip in the away game against Buntingford producing another highest score of 34-8 this time leading the team of Terry Lovegrove, Margaret Ward and Hans Rijk. Royston won overall 116-66 shots.
