Andy Jarvis was second with an 11lbs 5oz catch while Jamie McGuire was third with a 7lbs 14oz catch.
With only two points covering the first three places, the final match on July 30 could prove to be quite competitive.
The Presidents’ Cup match, fished on Sunday, July 18 at Orchard Lake, in conjunction with Eternit AC and Rugby AC, was won by Ian Palmer of Rugby with 16lbs 2oz.
Second was Jamie McGuire of both Royston and Rugby Angling Clubs with 14lbs 12oz while Brian Newman finished third.
All members are invited to attend the special meeting and Trophy awards at Newton Sports and Social Club on Monday, July 26 at 7.30 pm.
