Royston Rockets were in action on Sunday in the opening round of the East Anglia BMX Summer Series.
And Rockets had new member Kelly Newall to thank early on, as she secured a deserved third-place finish in the under-six year class.
In a tough race, Louis Foreman also impressed, with the youngster riding home in fifth place.
In the seven and eight year class, Ethan Vernon took the win in the A final, ahead of Daniel Blanche in third.
Oliver Snelling finished fifth, with James King and Josh Peters sixth and eighth respectively.
The Rockets also grabbed a deserved win in the B final, with Mamaduke Birt racing to victory.
Aaron Dalleywater also secured a first place finish for Rockets in the nine and 10 year A final, while Bradan Blanche finished fifth just ahead of Ethan Lewis in sixth place.
Zak Foreman finished eighth, while in the B final Matthew Harris claimed a deserved runners-up spot.
There was also a second-place finish for Jasia Blanche in the female seven-nine year class, with Louis Burton finishing third in the 11-12 year class.
Ben Gutteridge and James Handleigh finished third and fifth respectively in the 13-14 year class.
Wayne Gutteridge fought hard in the A final of the 15-16 year class, finishing in fifth place just ahead of Katie Roberts, who was testing her skills against the boys, and in doing so won the Rider of the Day Award.
In the B final Jak Bracewell finished second, with Zac Pegram finishing seventh.
The final two classes yielded two more second place finishes for Rockets, with Darren Forman in the 30+ Masters category and Richard Townsend in the Superclass.
Royston Rockets are in action again on Sunday in the third round of the National Summer Series in Cheddar.
