RHS Reserves 5 Great Chesterford Res 1
WITH games coming thick and fast to fit in before the end of the season, RHS would be delighted if all of them finished like this.
Midway through the first half Mark Poulter put RHS ahead when he converted a free kick after John Hanson had been brought down on the edge of the area.
Poulter's was the only goal of the first period, but his team cam e out of the blocks fast in the second and went 2-0 up through Adam Stokes.
Chesterford pulled a goal back when RHS failed to mark properly from a quick throw, but the result was never in question and RHS were soon 3-1 up when Stokes hit a lovely shot from 20 yards.
Hanson then found himself inside the box to finish following a five man move and Martin Cockbill finished the scoring with a header from six yards to help RHS in their bid for the league title.
RHS: Robinson, Oram, Payne, Thurley, Yates, Poulter, Snowden, Page, Hanson, Hargreaves, Stokes. Subs: Pope, Wiffin, Cockbill, Seaward, Laughlin.
