Reed, the 2012 National Village Cricket Cup champions, have moved to within three more wins of a repeat cup final appearance at Lord’s.

A five-wicket victory over Kent Area Champions Sibton Park at Reed on Sunday, thanks to James Heslam’s century, saw them progress further.

Reed were led to victory by an unbeaten century from the club captain who scored 108 not out from 105 balls as Reed chased down the 174 required for victory for the loss of just five wickets with five overs to spare.
