Royston Town Reserves 16 Sawbridgeworth Res 1
ROYSTON'S reserves recorded a huge win in Division Two East in foul and atrocious conditions on Tuesday evening.
Mark Wright was the pick of Royston's scorers with five, Josh Bronte boosted his season's tally by three and defender Jan Stephens grabbed two.
Craig Hammond made his comeback after missing the first team's win against Bedford reserves on Saturday through injury and got two after being brought on in the second half.
A further four goals were spread around the team.
Assistant manager John Bloss said: "We are obviously well pleased as everything we hit seemed to find the target tonight, but we all know there will be sterner games ahead."
The Crows are trying to find out if this is a record senior scoreline at Garden Walk. If anyone can remember a bigger scoreline let us know at damion.roberts@archant.co.uk
