2011 Captains Paddy Keane, Wendy Osborne and Bob Bridges

THE start to the new golfing season took place at Heydon Grange Golf Club when the outgoing Captains handed over to the 2011 new Captains.

As tradition dictates, the former men’s, ladies and seniors’ captains putted out on the last green of the Herts course while the incoming captains drove the first balls on the Cambs course.

The new club captain is Bob Bridges, the lady captain is Wendy Osborne and the senior captain is Paddy Keane.

At the same event, cheques were presented to last year’s charity beneficiaries, namely Red Balloon Learner Centre Group and Guide Dogs for the Blind, who each received £2,835.
