THE under-15 Lancers promotion hopes took a knock as they were beaten 4-2 at table-topping Sawbridgeworth.

Luke Farmer and Joel Strickland were on target for the Lancers.

In contrast, the under-10 Templars kept their hopes of finishing Division A runners-up very much alive with a 2-1 win over Stevenage Borough Reds thanks to goals from Charlie Briggs and Grant Nixon.

Christopher Birkett was the hero for the under-10 Crusaders as his goal was enough to beat Stevenage Borough Thunder 1-0 and secure the Division B championship.

The under-10 Knights and Lancers had mixed fortunes against Arlesey Town. The Knights were beaten 3-2 by the visitors A side despite goals from George Hewitt and Harry Moore.

The Lancers, however, ran out convincing winners over Arlesey B as two goals from Nick Allin and one each from Lewis Copsey and Kier Boyd gave them a 4-0 victory.

The under-13 Templars hopes of claiming second spot in Division One suffered a blow in their double header against Letchworth GCE Reds.

The first game finished all square as goals from Oliver Pride and Joe Parker earned a 2-2 draw.

The second game was another close affair before Letchworth took the points with a 2-1 win with Josh Camborne-Paynter scoring Templars' consolation goal.

The under-13 Knights continue to move up the Division Four table as they kept their winning run going against Albion.

Two goals from Brandon Cockwill and a Josh Dobson strike giving them a 3-2 victory.

The under-13 Lancers were beaten in both games of their double header against Stevenage Colts. A single goal settled the first match, while Lewis Worcester was on target in the second, but could not prevent the Colts winning 2-1.

A Mitchell Tredgett hat-trick was not enough to prevent the under-14 Crusaders slipping to a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Wymondley Park Wanderers.

After last week's defeat the under-14 Knights returned to winning ways in style as they hammered Sawbridgeworth 7-0.

Top scorer Jack Fidock helped himself to four goals while Jordan O'Neill was on target twice. With Matthew Ankers completing the scoring, the Knights need just one point from their remaining three league games to take the Division Four title.

The under-15 Knights kept up their recent good form to move up to third place in Division 1, as two goals from Chris Hogg and an Aaron Slack strike helped secure a 3-0 win over Knebworth.

The under-15 Crusaders picked up a useful point as they held promotion chasing St Neots to a 1-1 draw.
