Under-11s League Cup
A LACKLUSTRE first half display cost the Panthers as they went in 3-0 down at half time.
From the kick off they were second best as their opponents, who are top of Division One, dominated the possession.
The second half was more of a contest as player-of-the-match Joe Greeman got in some timely tackles at the heart of the midfield, but even so St Neots increased their lead after a rebound fell kindly for their forward to poke home.
George Storey had a good chance for the Panthers as he ran onto a great through ball but he failed to get his shot in on time, and a few minutes later Storey curled a free kick just wide from outside the penalty box.

To their credit the Panthers never dropped their heads but in truth they were never a threat to the well organised Neots defence.
Lewis Chessum and Ryan Lees deserve a mention for their contribution in the Melbourn defence.
