Panthers pick up first point of season

Melbourn Dynamos Panthers U12s 2 Beds Tigers 2

Melbourn Dynamos Panthers U12s picked up their first point of the season in a bottom-of-the-table clash with Mid Beds Tigers in a 2-2 draw.

Panthers fell behind against the run of play when a long ball forward was smashed home by the Tigers striker.

Despite going in a goal down at half time Panthers came out for the second half in confident mood and Sam Austin was the player who grabbed the deserved equaliser with a neat shot into the bottom corner. Their joy was short lived, though, as Tigers retook the lead straight from the restart.

However, Melbourn weren’t to be denied and Austin grabbed the equaliser with his second of the match.
