In the North Herts League, Royston Ladies beat Stevenage Town 46-24 with Royston's Beryl Huckle, Eileen Hyde, and Yvonne Whitehouse drawing 17-17 while skip Shirley Pawson, Joan Knights, and Linda O'Flanagan romped home with a 29-7 win.
Brian Pepper, Stanley Whitehouse and Rodney Dean were disappointed not to progress further in the Letchworth and District Triples on Monday against Howard Gardens, Letchworth, when they lost by 15 shots to 11.
Royston welcomed Shephalbury to a Vets mixed triples game on Tuesday and scored 97 shots to Shephalbury's 87.
Royston Ladies were in action on Tuesday in another North Herts League game and on this occasion comfortably beat St Ippolyts with 21-6 and 30-11 triumphs.
On the same day Royston's men took on St Ippolyts in the North Herts Inter-Club League. On rink one Stan Whitehouse, Will Martin, Don Sheriff and skip Roger Neville won 26-18, and on rink two Mick O'Flanagan galvanised his team of Colin Pawson, Charles Gifford and Laurie Ramsay to a35-10 win. Overall Royston triumphed by 61 shots to 28.

Baldock's Page led her four to a 27-10 win at Royston in the North Herts Ladies Fours semi-final against Riverain while Royston's Matt Coppen and Peter Adams beat a Norton pair 32-11.
Last Wednesday Royston also won 65-57 against Little Shelford in the Meldreth and District League.
The next day, in the L&D Pairs at Datchworth, Royston continued their good week when Mel Flack and Don Sheriff cruised into the next round with a 27-9 triumph, and on the same day Len Payne, Laurie Ramsay and Peter Adams were involved in a close encounter at Roebuck with Adams winning the tie by one shot in an extra end.
Royston hosted the neutral green stage of the EWBA Top Club on Thursday and welcomed the ladies from March Conservatives representing Cambridgeshire and the ladies of the Leighton Buzzard representing Bedfordshire.
In the singles a very close competition ended with a narrow win for Cambridgeshire at 21-19, in the pairs Cambridgeshire won 25-15, in the triples Buzzard captured the prize with an 18-11 win while in the fours Cambridgeshire won 20-17.
Cambridgeshire won by three games to one.
It was the final of the L&D Cairns Cup on Friday and Royston ran out winners against Baldock.
At Royston on rink 1, Keith Dockree, Derek Goodwin and Don Sheriff lost against a team skipped by Dave Turner 28-9.
Rink two fared better with Colin Pawson, Terry Hollands and Laurie Ramsay winning 19-8.
At Baldock, the team of Roger Davies, Will Martin and Peter Adams lost by two shots 24-22, while rink one had an easier ride with the team of Roger Neville, Brian Pepper and Mel Flack triumphing 30-14.
Overall, Royston scored 80 shots to Baldock's 74 and took the cup by six shots.
Royston were again in action in the MDL, this time against Chesterton.
Rink three saw Gillian Fisk, Keith Frostick and Mike Randall grab a seven during their win and Royston won on three of the four rinks claiming 70 shots to 52.
In the North Herts Ladies semi-finals on Saturday some local bowlers made it through to the finals.
In the 'Hedgehog', Gillian Fisk came first and in the triples Fisk, along with Eileen Hyde and Eunice Dockree, beat Baldock.
The Royston duo of O'Flanagan and Shirley Pawson were disappointed to lose to a pair from Riverain.
Rounding off the week, Royston were away to Hertford Castle on Saturday for a six triples mixed friendly.
Royston lost the match 131-87.
