ROYSTON Netball Club had one of their tightest games of the season before running out 35-30 winners against Hornets.
Hornets led 13-10 at the first break, but after a team talk by Tracy Stimpson, Royston were fired up and ready to go for it in the second quarter.
The defence were strong as ever with Anna Pinner and Jo Moxom blocking many passes in.
Natalie Williams at centre played a vital role in making sure Royston were two ahead by the second quarter.
In the third quarter Emma Higton started to intercept every ball that came way her way, her timing and sense of play allowing Royston to break many centre passes from Hornets.
Great shooting from Stimpson saw Royston win the game by five goals and move a step closer to promotion.
