A bright start saw Royston take a 2-0 lead with both goals from Mickey Baulk but the visitors then scored four goals before the break.
Royston tried hard to get back in the game with a good goal from Max Logan but Whitethorn sealed the win to make the final score 5-3.

A good second half goal by Lewis Anderson from a Jack Davis pass gave Royston Town Youth Under 10 B team victory in this close fought match.
Joe Burn was excellent in defence throughout and fine midfield work by Matt Bailey and Joe James made sure Royston didn't concede.
