WITH only one match to go in the Summer League, the Royston mixed doubles team remain unbeaten and on course for the title.
Christine Knight and Matt Fellingham, and Kathy Betts and Andy Holmes held Next Generation to a draw at home and then stormed to a 7-1 win against Histon.
The mixed first team lost a tough game to Fulbourn seconds with Gary Tobiss, Helen Hastings, Ralph Betts and Emma Daintrey going close.
The mixed second team also slipped to defeat, going down against Cambourne 7-1.
The team recovered to claim a well-earned victory over Girton seconds, with Pete Goodbody, Ann Smith, Doug Higgins, Helen Hastings, John Goodbody, Caroline McCormick, and Roger Maybury on fine form.
