The May half-term holidays is fast approaching and Cambridge United are set to visit a host of destinations across the region including Melbourn for the latest series of Soccer Schools, aimed at boys and girls aged between 4-14 year old.
Taking place between Tuesday 26th May and Friday 29th May, the Soccer Schools are a fantastic way for local youngsters to showcase their football skills in front of a professional football club, during their time off school.
Led by Cambridge United’s professional youth development coaches, the sessions will offer players the opportunity to work on a technical training programme each morning, before the fun and games begin in the afternoon with a succession of small sided matches.
Talented players will be identified by our FA and first aid qualified coaches, and will be offered a trial within the U’s Youth Development System. Whilst for players that attend the full week’s sessions, they will receive a written progress report and personal action plan at the end of the week.
Soccer Schools are the perfect answer to any working parent during the half term holidays, eliminating the need to search for child care with an exciting half term camp that promotes a healthy lifestyle as well as an entertaining training programme.
Cambridge United Soccer Schools will take place in Huntingdon, Swavesey, Melbourn, St. Ives, Bottisham, Sawston, Comberton, Linton, Witchford, Chesterton and Kings Hedges.
