BUNTINGFORD started the sharper against Melbourn with a couple of threatening attacks early on but their opponents' player-of-the-match Joe Greeman made some vital interceptions to keep the score at 0-0.
Sam Potterill opened the scoring for Melbourn with a neat finish in the corner and from then on Melbourn controlled the game as Luke Eades created numerous openings for his side's attack.
George Storey scored twice and a deflected shot from the edge of the box made it 4-0 at half time.
Buntingford never gave up in the second half and their keeper was in great form as he made numerous saves but Storey added another three and Potterill also got another as Melbourn ran out 8-0 winners.
