Melbourn Dynamos Panthers FC are celebrating a second tournament triumph in as many weeks after prevailing at Godmanchester Rovers’ youth event on Saturday.
Having won the Royston Crow Youth League U9s event last month, the Melbourn side topped their group, remaining unbeaten after three wins and two draws.
A hard-fought win in the quarter-finals led Panthers to another gruelling clash in the last four, against Peterborough Whites.
One goal was enough for the Panthers as they booked their place in the final against St Neots Town.
Having saved a penalty in the first half to keep the scores goalless at the break, Panthers slammed three goals in the second half to claim another trophy success.
