ROYSTON and District Angling Club's final match in the Winter League took place at Thriplow Reservoir with Jamie McGuire once again the leading angler.
McGuire has now made it four wins in a row as he netted a weight of 10 lbs, including a 1 lb 2 oz roach and a 1 lb rudd and he also won the aggregate weights with a total of 31 lbs 15 oz for the four matches.
Second place went to Rick Arber with 4 lbs 14 oz and club chairman Mick Rivers finished third with 4 lbs 4 oz.
Steve McGuire came fourth with 3 lbs 14.5 oz but earned sufficient points to become runner up in the league.
The next club match is the Gordon Thomas Memorial match and will be fished at Thriplow Reservoir on Sunday May 3.
