ROYSTON Golf Club is offering women the chance to play for the first time when it holds an open day on Saturday, April 17. The event starts at 9.30am and will provide tuition free of charge.

After a cup of coffee and a brief introduction, the ladies will be shown all aspects of golf from teeing-off to chipping.

Their will also be fun competitions with prizes and the chance to meet some of the lady members of the club.

Club Professional, Sean Clark, will be on hand to offer his expert advice.
