IT was a busy weekend at Bassingbourn Golf Club this weekend with the Ladies Championship played on Saturday and the July Medal held on Sunday.
In the ladies competition Suzanne Davies finished first with an impressive 40 points followed closely by Carol Geal on 39 and ladies captain Pat Saunders in third with 36 points.
The longest drive was won by Moya Allison and Carol Geal collected her second prize of the day by winning the nearest the pin competition.
On Sunday John Worrall continued his winning run by finishing first in the medal with a fine nett 62. He was followed in by Malcolm Hill on a nett 67.
