Stevenage Ladies IV 0

ROYSTON started strongly, and dominated the game for the first 15 minutes continually putting the Stevenage defence under pressure.

They were unlucky not to score through several chances set up with great play between Rosie Polge, Caroline Yarrow and Helen Miles.

The hard work paid off when excellent play from the man of the match Helen Miles passed a lovely ball out to Caroline Yarrow who played some brilliant one-twos down the right with Rosie Polge and Yarrow made the perfect pass to Heather Polge who blasted the ball into the back of the Stevenage goal.

After the break Royston came out fighting again and were unfortunate not to score again with shots at goal from Caroline Yarrow and Lisa Thompson.

The last two minutes of the game proved to be nailbiting as the Royston defence were put under pressure from the Stevenage attack but held the game with some good defending.
