Their last two matches saw wins over Huntingdon III 6-2 and Fulbourn II 5-3. Their players were Christine Knight, Helen Hastings, Jackie Montrose, Emma Daintrey, Kathy Cain and Pru Burton.
The men's team of Mike and Matt Fellingham, Mark Griffiths and David Addison chalked up a 5-3 home win against Cambourn.
In the first season where the club has been able to field two mixed teams, the first team lost 6-2 at Great Shelford II, but won at home against Victory Bury St. Edmunds 6-2.
The mixed II team lost 7-2 against University Press but scored a walkover 8-0 against Cambourn who failed to raise a team last weekend.
Royston Tennis Club's thriving junior section clocked up another win this weekend, the under 10 team winning 5-1 at Hoddesdon Tennis Club.
Club coach, Matt Fellingham also announced that Miles Arnold, aged 11 is now rated number 14 in the county and Andrew Betts, aged 12, is rated 19th - both in the 12-and-under category.
