The pairing of Kathy Betts and Emma Daintrey proved far too strong for Cocks & Hens, with Royston winning 8-0, as did Christine Knight and Pru Burton, who beat a Huntingdon 2 team 7-1.

The men's second doubles team, consisting of Garry Tobiss, Mark Griffiths, Peter and John Goodbody, and Ralph Betts had a more mixed weekend of results, with Royston losing 8-0 against Huntingdon and then drawing 4-4 with Foxton.
