STUDENTS from Royston took part in the very first GMax Academy Shaolin Kung Fu grading, held at Greneway School on Saturday, July 31.
Junior students Liam Marshall, seven, Denny Gwyther, eight, and Harry Gwyther, 10, all from Royston, gained Yellow Sashes.
Senior student Billy Gwyther, 14, attained his Yellow sash while James Ranoe, 24, received an Orange Sash.
All participants were examined on techniques and routines from the Chin Woo Wushu system. A delighted Glen Stanway, founder and Chief Instructor of GMax, said: “I am very pleased with the dedication and high standard that these students have shown, in such a short space of time. A couple of the juniors can perform some of the senior adult techniques, after only seven lessons.”
