AFTER a series of high-scoring games in recent weeks - Great Chishill were involved in a rare goalless draw at Wilbraham on Saturday.

Although the scoreline suggests otherwise, it was an entertaining game and Wilbraham started strongly and should have taken the lead when they were awarded a penalty that was brilliantly saved by 'keeper Andy Knight.

In the second half, with both teams going for broke to grab the three points, it was the two goalkeepers who came out on top.

Wilbraham's 'keeper saved well from Gareth Edey before tipping Colin Saward's free kick over the bar.

Jonathan Drury also came close when his volley hit the inside of the post but the last word went to Knight who denied Wilbraham's pacey striker with a great one-on-one save deep into injury time to ensure Chishill left with a well earned point.
