Bishop's Stortford Blues 0 Bassingbourn Youth 1
Under-11s Division Two
WITH no substitutes available Bassingbourn battled hard on a boggy pitch and kept Stortford at bay with some good defensive work and fine saves by goalkeeper John Dix.
Tom Harrington and Cameron MacGillivray provided the defensive cover on the flanks whilst James May was a rock in the centre of defence.
Sweeper James Sharp covered well and also got in some good attacking runs.
The midfield worked tirelessly throughout the game with Dylan Lloyd getting in numerous good runs down the left wing and James Ashton was as industrious as ever in midfield, taking a couple of knocks as Stortford tried to quell his strong running.
