THE goals just keep coming from the under-14 Lancers. This time it was JCA Youth who felt the full force of the Division Three leaders. Joel Strickland produced the individual performance of the day, scoring six goals. Fellow striker Sam Fraser-Bossom was also on target four times, and with further goals coming from Lee Chapman, Kieran Anderson, Jordan Pidock and Ben Glover, the Lancers finally ran out 14-1 winners. The under-17 Crusaders got back to winning ways at Letchworth. An early goal from Harry Holland followed by a Nicky Ryall penalty gave them the best possible start. Although the home side reduced the deficit just before the interval, two late goals from Holland to complete his hat-trick gave the Crusaders a welcome 4-1 victory. There were mixed fortunes for the under-10 sides. The Templars were beaten by the only goal of the game at Broadhall A, while a Ryan Savage goal helped the Crusaders gain a 1-1 draw against Broadhall B. The Knights earned an excellent 1-0 win over Bishop's Stortford Rangers thanks to a Dominic Cartwright goal, while the Lancers found Bishop's Stortford Rovers too strong on the day and ended up on the wrong end of a 7-0 score line. In Division One of the under-11 league, the Templars took the points against Royston Town with a 1-0 win, while in Division Two, goals from Toby Harvey and George Mardlin were not enough to prevent the Crusaders suffering a 7-2 defeat at Potton. The under-12 Templars kept their winning run going as goals from Henry Dann gave them a 2-1 win over Stevenage Borough Reds. In Division Three the Knights were beaten 3-1 at Potton, despite a George Laurence goal. The Lancers slipped to defeat at the hands of Stansted, the visitors taking the points with a 3-0 win. The under-13 Templars and Buntingford Cougars shared the points in their Division One match, goals from top scorer Luke Hennessey and James Graham earning Templars a 2-2 draw. In Division Three, the under-13 Crusaders continued their winning ways, as goals from Reece Glasgow, Callum Bishop and Charlie Gardener earned them a 3-2 victory at Fairlands Blues. The under-14 Knights kept their Division One title hopes on track, as they overcame a strong Letchworth Royals side 2-0, thanks to goals from Laurie Owen and Aaron Slack. It was a disappointing day for both under-15 sides in action, as they both slipped to 6-0 defeats, the Saints at Potton, and the Crusaders at Sandy.
