AFTER a five-week gap Greneway School's Year 7 and 8 athletes continued their impressive form in the North Herts Schools' League with some excellent individual and team performances.

Many athletes established new and improved PBs and some moved on to the school's all-time list.

The Year 7s were participating in their third competitive meet of the season.

Impressive performances included Micael Viera-Roodenberg's gutsy 800m run, Roberto Thomas' PBs in triple jump and 800m, and Aaron Smith's first competitive high jump.

Head of PE Terry Graves said: "The gap between competitions showed as Greneway were not as sharp as usual, but I'm sure that they will have regained their focus for the North Herts Schools' Championships on Wednesday (yesterday).
