BRIAN Arnopp of Bassingbourn Judo Club has been awarded his third dan.
Arnopp has been an assistant instructor and coach at the club for more than 10 years.
Geoff Klein of Bassingbourn Judo Club said: "Brian has been a member for about 18 years, and he has been a real asset.
"I'm sure that the many people he has instructed over the years, those who have gained valuable experience from his teaching, will also be pleased for him.
