THE Stripes got back to winning ways with a narrow 2-1 win. Jacob Hill opened the scoring with his third of the season. The Stripes started brightly and deserved their 1-0 lead but Shephall fought back and equalised just before the end of the half from a well placed header from a pin-point cross from the right wing.
It didn't take long for the Stripes to regain the lead once the second half started when Matthew Chappenden slotted home from close range, also for his third goal of the season. The remainder of the second half was fairly even with both sides having chances to score but neither side were able to find the back of the net.
