ROYSTON battled hard against a strong Team Beds side who boasted a number of Super League players.
The first quarter saw some excellent defending by Anna Pinner, Jo Moxham and Natalie Williams, and the first quarter was all square at 7-7.
The second quarter was another tough battle, although it was the visitors who managed to pull away.
In the third quarter Team Beds edged further in front with five well-taken goals.
But in last quarter Royston made some changes, with Jackie Huttleston coming on, a move that seemed to give them renewed energy, with player-of-the-match Emma Higton particularly impressive in front of the net.
