HEYDON Grange Golf Club celebrated its third Annual Reunion of Past Captains and Club Champions recently with a Stableford competition over the Essex and Cambs courses, with participants playing off seven-eighths handicap.

This event enables past captains and club champions to get together and meet old friends and foes – at golf that is – for a friendly day’s play and the chance to reminisce.

The winner of the ladies’ prize was Tina Broadley, a former Ladies Champion, while Trevor Clifton, a past club captain, took the men’s award.

Nearest the pin prizes went to Jane Patterson, a past ladies captain and to Andy Lawson, the current men’s champion.
